Dr. Kathryn Price, MD and Lura Springfels, ARNP along with a caring staff, welcome patients of all ages.
Dr. Kathryn Price
Dr. Price is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician. She attended medical school at the University of Tennessee and has vast experience as a primary care physician. Dr. Price is a conscientious family health care provider, concerned with the total health care of her patients and is trained to diagnose and treat a wide variety of ailments. She strives to enhance preventive care, increasing early detection of serious diseases and improving overall coordination of care, especially those with chronic conditions. Dr. Price communicates effectively with her patients and is genuinely concerned for their well-being.
Lura Springfels, ARNP
Lura Springfels is a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a retired Commander, having served in the United States Navy for twenty years as a nurse, then a nurse practitioner. Her focus is on health promotion, disease prevention and health education. Her skills include woman screening exams, adolescent and sports physicals, well child visits, diabetes management and weight management.
Dr. Price and Lura’s philosophy is not only to treat the illness, but to treat the whole person, guiding them to make healthier choices through high quality patient centered care.
